Ramadhan kareem

Not sure if I'll fast this year..will try but will have a extremely low threshold to break fast:)) The normal do at the embassy will start this eve. My name has been kindly left out of the cooking list but will try to contribute as much as we can. Making udang masak lemak cili api tonite.

That earlier paragraph was written 2 days ago. to date i have managed to fast 1/2 day for the past 2 days..:)) at least something i suppose. we'll see how it goes..esp after our scan on thurs..

well...to all muslim readers..as if anyone reads my boring entries...ramadhan kareem to all of you.

at long last....

we won our 1st premier league game yesterday...and a win at old trafford as well. hmmm...so sweet!! felt that arsene was scraping the barrel for excuses last week...players not used to the pitch and so on. it's nice to be back on the 1st page of the table.... things are looking better....i really do hope!

on the preggers front. Alhamdullillah everything is ok at the mo apart from the fact that baby is in breech position. there's still time for baby to turn...we have another scan next week and will confront the issue if baby hasn't turned as yet then.

am having a small kenduri tomorrow. to pray for our baby's safety n well being plus our friend's. our friend is already hospitalized to increase the survival of her baby. insya Allah, all will be well.

parents coming over in a fortnite's time. am looking forward to that. think i do need a hand nowadays. baby is getting heavier even though he/she is now comforming back to m'sian size. at one point of time baby was comforming to dutch standards..which wud have meant a min of 4.5 kg at birth...aarrggghhhhh! At the end of the day, the most important bit is that baby is well.

food....glorious food...

I am soooooo full! Went to a farewell do at the embassy just now and ate TWO bowls of assam laksa. Before i was preggers, i absolutely dislike assam laksa. Hubby is the one who loves it...boy! this baby is really following his/her dad's fav foods!! at first when i got there, i was a bit worried coz i only saw the assam laksa n the other dishes didn't look that exciting but lo and behold...the gravy was soooooo nice...poor hubby! wanted to taupau some back but the men haven't eaten yet plus wasn't offered any so..

had lepat ubi for dessert as well...yummmmmm! well, i guess i'd better eat as much as i can before the confinement period starts.in a way, it's prob good i am not in m'sia. if i was, i wud prob be as big as a barrel!!

as for baby, he/she can really kick esp when he/she is kicking towards the back of my uterus..i feel as tho my whole bump is shaking:)) but i must say it is quite an interesting feeling actually. keep telling baby not to do that much since my placenta is at the back.Alhamdullillah, baby is ok till now..we are seeing our dr next week. hmm...our bizarre dr!!

antenatal classes are going fine. think hubby enjoys them..esp when the men get to have a chat. yesterday the conversation was on strollers. yup! we still haven't bought one as yet..still have time since there is the added confinement period...prob is i like this certain brand but it is damn expensive:( practical me is fighting w the non rational me:)) hmm..wonder which side will win..
