scorching heat

it must be appox 34 deg outside n there is no way i am leaving this house till much later. hubbs is back fr kl, Alhamdullillah so lieverd is now napping. she refused to nap till very late yesterday i.e. 5:30pm. she woke up at 7:15pm and wanted 2 go outside n play w bubbles. had to convince her that it was dark n too late to play outside. her routine is out of sync at the mo since we just came back fr kl. i reckon she also misses her cuzs, pak n mak ngah, tok ma n tok acho. they were here for a short visit a couple of weeks back. for the first few days last week, she will get onto her truck n call out for kakak. went into the room where they were in looking for kakak as well. occasionally she will ask 4 baby i.e. areef. she is not as fond of areef as she is of kakak since areef loves to 'sakat' her :)).

as for me,i do miss the hustle n bustle of having relatives around. but it is back to biz as usual now. really looking forward to this long weekend. hubbs travels a lot nowadays and it is pretty tiring for me as lil one acts up when he is away. brought her into the room at 9:30 last nite. she had her milk then climbed down fr the bed. went straight to the bathroom n called out for 'bik!bik!',realised that daddy was not there, she went to the bedroom door and said daddy!daddy! told her daddy is on the plane home so she climbed back onto the bed. rolled around a bit n stretched her arms out and said..'daddy! nak nak', gesturing for daddy to carry her. this morn, saw daddy n immediately got daddy 2 carry her then went back to sleep. she ran to the door when i told her daddy is home for lunch. beamed from ear to ear when she saw daddy then started to play with n entertain daddy. wasn't happy when daddy left for work. went to the sliding door n said her high pitched bye bye till she cudn't c daddy's car anymore.

spoke to my bestfren yesterday n i realised that i have only seen her 2x since we got back fr europe. she told me that she saw me more during my annual visit back to m'sia than since we moved back to m'sia. it is really difficult for us since everytime we go back to kl there is loads to do n need to spend time w the families. but i promised her that i will try my best to see her when i am back for a longer stint in july/aug.i know i will prob b bz w prep for bro in law's wedding but reckon i cud squeeze in a lunch/tea w her. she has been thro a lot last year n i really feel like i have not been there for her as much as i shud like she was for me for the past 20+ years of my life. hubbs n i were saying the other day that when we were in europe we saw our frens everytime we came back to m'sia and now that we are in m'sia we don't see them. he also complained about the fact that he can't play golf in kgns esp since he has been paying his membership dues year in n year out. as for me, thank god rlc has absent membership fees so i have been an absent member since 1998! gosh...come sept i have not lived in kl for 10 years..wow!

parents n inlaws want us back in kl but to be honest i don't think i can hack it. i love the simple life in miri. kl is nice but in small doses. i dunno..i guess we will leave it up to Allah. we can only plan but we must leave everything in His hands.

at the mo, i really wish i was in europe. fine!i'll be sneezing my way thro the next couple of months but it is way cooler, temp wise than here.feel so lethargic fr the heat even tho i have d a/c on the whole day...yes! i know i am spoilt :))
