Summer heatwave

From winter straight to summer. It has been hitting the 30's the past few days. Alhamdullillah, so far I have only spent 1 day flat - thanks to my hay fever. This is the 1st year in 7 that I have not taken my antihistamines daily. Insya Allah, the weather will be cooler the end of this week so my hay fever shud tail off. As for the heat...am coping so far, Alhamdullillah.

Had our scan last Thurs. Alhamdullillah, baby is doing well. Conforming to dutch size..million dollar question - sex. Well, we don't wanna know and baby cooperated w us. I was impressed that hubby managed to identify the 4 chambers of the heart compared to the last scan where he couldn't even recognize the head:)). Granted it was an axial view but still....

As for world cup, yes! I think baby enjoys it..pretty active during the matches. I still haven't decided which team to support. I suppose it will be England yet again..supported them while I was staying there but considering half of arsenal is french...hmmm...As for England, I really don't have the foggiest what eriksson is doing.

Anyway, to all footie fans (as if anyone reads my blog apart from me..:)) ) - enjoy the matches! can't wait to see henry n ronaldinho in action. btw, hubby proposed that if we have a boy, he wants to name the baby iman ronaldinho....:)) hmm...iman henry is quite nice as well..

Lazy Sunday

It's been a while since I last updated this blog...well, our personal laptop is ill to the extent that our internet access was blocked due the the spam it was generating!! We are back online via hubby's!

Hmm...what have we been up to since my last entry. My aunt was here from S'pore the first weekend of May - brought our supply of a+w rootbeer (hubby craved). It was a very sunny and warm weekend so we paid Keukenhof a visit. Poss our last visit there b4 we leave NL. Then off to London for my exam. Learnt that studying during the 1st trimester of pregnancy is not a good idea at all :)). well, at least I tried.

Following weekend, bro in law was here from M'sia. Bless him! The weather went back to winter..but I think we managed to have some fun despite the weather. Went to Zeeland, Delft, Brussels, Nijmegen, Cologne and Aarchen.

With the French Open going on and the World Cup starting on Fri...I think we will be spending most of our time indoors:)) like today! Gave up on trying to peel hubby from the telly for a shower!!!

Apart from that, all is fine Alhamdullillah. I have stopped puking, have more energy. Have even started cooking. No spicy stuff as yet though...:( Insya Allah, will be able to soon..
