Spring is here....

Despite the temp not really up to spring standards, our tulips have started to bloom. We planted them before our trip to Egypt...Hubby did one box n me the other but we can't remember who did which flower box. Never mind...I can at least enjoy having tulips on my balcony. A gardening triumph for us..

On a different note, syukur Alhamdullillah we have conceived and are expecting our firstborn in Oct. The pregnancy so far has been ok despite the all day sickness n extreme fatigueness. The challenge has been to stay in n keep still. We bled at 10 weeks+ which was scary since it was a gush of fresh blood. All sorts of causes just rushed thro my brain...reminded me of when one receives a call while being oncall. Medics brains are trained to run thro all different scenarios while walking or running to wherever we are meant to be. Alhamdullillah, the baby is growing well n pretty active. Managed to get another scan done as well. So, insya Allah we will only have 3 scans in this pregnancy. But I am tempted to get a 3D scan done but not sure if the insurance will pay for it. The stupid insurance will not even pay for kraamzorg services which are part of the dutch maternity care package. Oh well!Presently am waiting for my gynae to ring w my blood results. European maternity care is sooooo different to M'sia. My next antenatal appt is in June!!To be fair, I cud have opted to deliver in M'sia but being away from my hubby for 4 months wasn't an option I wanted to consider.
